If I lay here...

I don't know about you guys, but I sort of have an obsession with beautiful bedding. Ever since I was a little girl, I always had a fascination with big, fluffy beds and pillows. My mom used to take me shopping with her all the time and one of my most favorite things to do was to go visit the big department stores where all those comfy, made up beds were housed. I loved picking out new comforters/sheets. My mom was the best. She always let me choose a new set for my room each year. We would rearrange furniture and change out the curtains until is was a redesigned, brand new space. As my sister and I were growing, our tastes changed, we liked different things and wanted to express those interests in our room decor...our mother honored our creativity...well, then again, she probably just really enjoyed the shopping part of the whole transformation. I am my mothers daughter, you know...we love to decorate and we love to shop even more...where do you think these habits came from anyways!?

Looking at the new Anthropologie catalogue brought back so many of those memories. Have you checked it out yet? Hope so. If you haven't, you do not know what you are missing.

The Mr. may want to bop me over my little head, but I think we are due for a little bedroom makeover. Besides, it's been two years with the same bedding. Two years! Time to rearrange.
