Happy weekend everyone! Here are a couple instagram/iphone pictures from last weekend and earlier this week. Over the next two days the hubs and I will be puppy sitting Prince Preston (my sister's pup). Let's see how my little bubba Brooklyn does with this. Whoa baby! Wish us luck! =)

Pizza, plans and a puppy
I don't know about all of you, but I for one am ecstatic that Friday is finally here. This afternoon I enjoyed a drink with some of my favorite teacher friends. I absolutely love spending time with them catching up and relaxing- in my opinion, the most perfect way to end a long work week . Tonight, we called out for some veggie pizza and subs from a local pizza shop. Friday night pizza = pure bliss.
As for the rest of the weekend...tomorrow morning calls for early morning coffee and b-fast at Starbucks with one of my favorites (Kallie) before we teach/dance/choreograph at the local high school, a little bit of house cleaning, food shopping, and some Super Bowl prep for Sunday's big game! We will be watching and celebrating =) with some dear friends. So fun!
Here's to the weekend, loves. Enjoy, stay safe and have fun.

Brookie Baby
We had quite a scare Friday night. While walking our daily route around the neighborhood, Brooks and I were attacked by a Rottweiler. I made it out with a small bite on the finger and bruised knees; Brooks with a couple scratches up/down her back and a sore neck...(from me trying to pull her from under the Rott) =( It really could have been soooo much worse. Although our injuries were minor, the experience was a major one that I will definitely never forget. I felt like a mama bear trying to protect her young cub. I wasn't at any time scared for my safety, the thought never occurred to me, my goal was to save Brookie. Even though she is "just a dog" as many like to say, she is my baby, part of our family and I love her to pieces. So thankful for our helpful neighbors who were "at the right place at the right time" (or wrong place, at such an awful time if you ask me) to help and protect us. Much gratitude to you all.
Kisses and hugs to my sweet girl. xo
