So tired!

Yesterday the sister, hubs and I went on a little hike at the park (Field of Dreams, great name, huh). We stopped and got some coffee, packed up the pups and headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather. I am hoping to walk those trails a bunch more in the upcoming days/weeks. I am by no means a "nature girl" but I have to admit it was pretty peaceful... I really enjoyed it. Whoohoo, yayyy for SPRING! I welcome you and that warm, beautiful sunshine!

Sunday Morning

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Lately I have found myself dreading Sundays. I'm not sure if it is the pile of clothes I need to wash, or the bathrooms that need scrubbing, or my lesson plan book that is YELLING my name...? Hmmm. I just greatly dislike that I waste away the day going through the motions of chores and planning and do not take full advantage of all that Sunday has to offer. I've decided that I can no longer let the 'Sunday blues' get me down. I'm making changes. Changes for the greater good, people.

Checklist for a perfect Sunday...
Grocery Shopping & a well stocked refrigerator
Yummy food cooking in the crock pot...it's always about the food with me. ALWAYS.
Getting showered & ready at my own pace...I'm usually rushing around Mon-Fri...hair, clothes and makeup- everywhere! You can only imagine.
Plenty of puppy play time with our crazy baby girl
Visiting with friends & enjoying great company, conversation and laughs

Today was definitely one of those special Sundays. I'm happy & ready to start the week. Bring it on.

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend was all in all pretty relaxing. Nothing too crazy...a couple errands, dinner with Mum, a Sunday morning french toast breakfast and some visiting with our friends Shannon and Ryan and their new, adorable pup, Charlie! So excited for Brooks! Hopefully she and Charlie will be best of friends! We'll have to wait and see!

As for tonight, I'm off to complete some lesson plans for my 'littles' (Yay, to a three day week), snuggle with my hunnie and prep my shopping list for the Thanksgiving holiday (I know, I know...I wanted to be more proactive. The stores are going to be nutty this week). Recipes and pictures coming soon!
